Hello!
Today, 19 June 2914, was an unexpected great day! After lounging around the room for a little, Sami and I decided to head down to Circular Quay to get some good photos. We took the 555 down George Street and got off at Circular Quay. As we got off we noticed a line of people coming from a Cadbury Chocolate stand, we decided we'd come back later to see what all the commotion was about. After going to our favorite spots and of course waiting for all the ferries to pass by as we try and take pictures we made a huge loop back to the chocolate stand. Realizing that Cadbury was giving away free blocks of chocolate we decided to stand in line. As a worker comes down the row she makes us sign waivers saying that they will be able to use films and photos if we are present in them. She told us not to worry we won't become movie stars because if anything it'll be a short clip if we were even in it (haha to her, you'll understand soon). As we approached the Joy Generator, we got excited for a chocolate bar and then something magical happened! We become the stars for a Cadbury commercial. Dead serious. Since Sami and I looked like cute approachable girls they filmed us while we took turns doing the Joy Generator step by step..holding up the several other people in the line behind us HAHA. Luckily enough for us, we got 2 chocolate blocks and then interviewed. The people were so friendly and they said we were perfect for what they were planning on putting together it was even a plus that we were American :) We answered questions, chatted with the film crew and are definitely going back tomorrow for more free chocolate! Sami and I always have the best time together doing the most random stuff, I cannot believe she is leaving me in 3 days!!!! I cannot wait for this film to come out, it will be hysterical.
"The best flavored chocolate is peppermint because it has a little kick just like me" - The line that will get me famous

Checking Off That Bucketlist
Hello!
As my time is starting to near the end of the most wonderful 5 months of my life, Ive started to make a bucket list of all the places I need to revisit/visit for the first time before leaving. Seeing as how many people were not home this past week, Sami and I decided to head into Darling Harbour on 12 May 2014 because that was a place on The Bucket List. To bring back good memories we headed to Pontoon to get lunch. Pontoon is where we ate all on orientation when we wanted a cheap solid meal. This time, like usual we got Caesar salads. Since the way restaurants work in Sydney you have to go up and get your own forks and knives..well as I was headed up to get my utensils a seagull dove down and decided to eat my salad, next thing I know I see Sami protecting the salads while birds swarm her head. We made a huge scene in the restaurant but at least we provided the customers with free entertainment. To save our self from more embarassment as soon as we were done lunch we headed out. We chatted over our salads about other things on our list. We decided to cross one more thing off the list and head to the Queen Victoria Building ("All I have to say is clock"). This building was beautiful and had the greatest stores including Valentino and Versace :) After that we headed back home and had a relaxing night.
Friday 13 May 2014 was another relaxing day until the real fun started at night. The girls and I planned on staying in that night to play a simple game but things quickly changed. Next thing I knew I had 20 people in the apartment for pre-drinks and was convinced to go to Side Bar with the crew. After dancing our booties off a little in Side Bar we headed to Scubar, since it was lame we headed down to Scruffy Murphys where it was poppin! We all sweated so much that night because of all the dancing we did. Unfortunately, I almost got into a physical altercation with an mid-aged woman on the dance floor but it was soon broken up. Typical me. After sweating enough for the night we decided to call it a night and head back home. Walking past so many Kebab places I was bound to get some food, luckily I only got a slice of pizza..literally amazing! Upon arriving home and cleaning up a little, Rachel and Lucjan came home with Mcdonald's and they were kind enough to share some french fries with me. After that I quickly went to bed!
Today is rainy and cross but Sami, Libby and I are planning on going to Luna Park tonight which should be fun!

Should've Would've Could've
Today I SHOULD have been leaving for Thailand but no.
Today I COULD have been leaving for Fiji or Bali but of course not.
Here I am in my apartment taking a final in the morning and then continuing to hang out with me myself and I until all my roommates come home from all their wonderful adventures later this week. It's so fun to be me. Not.

StuVac Party Weekend
Hello!
Long time, no blogging..I have lots to catch you up on!
The week of June 2 was my last week of classes! I had three classes that week and one final so I am officially done Spanish. Since classes are done, it is now the study vacation period. Unfortunately, I am not going to Thailand anymore which makes me sad but I know there is good reason. I have two more finals left and then I have officially finished my study abroad semester. This semester has got to be one of the best semesters of my college life. I made so many great friends and had so many amazing memories.
Wednesday June 4, I had my Spanish final, which was pretty easy if I do say so myself. After my Spanish final Sami and I planned on going to the Westfield Tower to get a cocktail in the 360 rotating bar to see all of Sydney. The cocktail was not very good but the view made up for it. It was a nice relaxing Wednesday night. After arriving home, Kelley and I were the only ones home so we watched Titanic and Bad Neighbours.
Thursday June 5, Sami and I went on a souvenir shopping spree. We headed to Paddy's Market to get souvenirs for everyone back home. I have one or two more presents to get and I am done buying things for everyone! After I got home ate dinner and relaxed, Sami texted me saying she was upstairs with Samm and Philip pre-drinking. She invited me up so I went. I had no intentions of going out that night but some how Samm convinced me and I ended up at Scubar with the crew. On Thursdays Scubar is usually packed because it is the neon party but literally no one was there but Lewis and Gregor. After dancing for a little the girls and I decided to head home after getting kebabs (my first Kebab yet!)
Lets just say Friday June 6 did not go as planned. The girls (Sami, Alli, Libby and I) decided to go to Argyle that night because we had free entry and free drink cards thanks to our girl Rachel. Sami got lost trying to get a picture of the Opera House and she got stuck on a fence. Alli had no money for a cab so Ash had to give her money that night because she didn't want to leave with us. Libby and I ended up eating chicken nuggets from Aporto because we were stuck in traffic and took our taxi driver to let us out. At Aporto some girl tried to tell me my American accent was fake and we got into a heated disagreement. Argyle: 5 Em: 0
Saturday June 7 was a rough one. All day we all were recovering from our wild adventures the night before. Thankfully, Sami and I went to MadMex our typical rough weekend lunch spot. You can never go wrong with a MadMex burrito. Saturday was not too eventful because of the way I felt. But after going to the grocery store, making chicken noodle soup and eating dinner with Sami and Alli we got motivated and got ready to go to Marquee with everyone in the building. I hosted the pre drinks and the crew (Jackie, Samm, Philip, Libby, Alli and I) stayed back a couple minutes after the other crew left because we felt as though it was too early to go to Marquee. Finally making our way out the door in our very cute outfits we got taxis and made it to Marquee. Thanks to TEAN Christine, we got free entry. Marquee this time around was not as eventful or as fun as the time Nicole and I stayed there until 5 am LOL. Sami, Charlotte, Jackie and I made our way home while stopping at Mcdonalds half way home. Typical me, taking about 20 ketchup packets and using every single one. I love my Ketchup.
Today, Sunday June 8, has been yet another relaxing/catching up on sleep day. I slept a lot and ate another burrito LOL except for this time it was with Rachel since we are the only ones here. Kelley and her friend Mary are in Bali/Cairns/Byron Bay and Nicole is in Thailand. I started the new season of Orange Is The New Black, cleaned up my bedroom and the kitchen. So far today has been uneventful as well. Today marks my 3 weeks left in Australia, I really never want to leave I love it here so much.
Miss you all!

Sunday Morning Rain Is Not Falling...
Hi!
Sunday, May 25, was a very early morning. The girls and I have been talking about waking up to go to Bondi Beach to see the sunrise for several weeks now. I set my alarm Saturday night for 5:16 in the morning. When it went off I dreaded the thought of getting out of bed. After a couple minutes, Nicole and I began to get ready. Around 5:45 in the morning Drey came and met us at our room, we were the three musketeers that were dedicated enough to wake up and go to the sunrise. After walking to Seven Eleven to buy bus tickets we headed to Railway Square to catch the 5:59 Coogee bus where we wanted to go. Unfortunately, after waiting for several minutes and witnessing a very intoxicated blonde Australian boy fall asleep on the Asian man sitting next to him on the bench, we decided to sprint to the train and catch the next one to Bondi Junction hoping that the 333 was running. We caught the train and life was good until we arrived at Bondi Junction and found out the 333 was not running until 9:00 am. Sh*t out of luck, we decided we'd take a cab, 5 minutes later we arrived at the beach just in time. We walked down to the water and camped in the sand over looking North Bondi at the beautiful pink, orange and yellow sky waiting for the sun to rise. It was very chilly but surfers filled the waters. After the sun rose and we took a photoshoot (of course) we headed to the Eastern Beaches Coastal walk which is a 6km walk from Bondi to Coogee passing all the beaches in between. After an hour or two we finally made it to Coogee, the sun was not shining at that moment, I was freezing and tired so I headed home. Upon walking onto the bus I noticed all bus ticket readers were faulty and I did not have to use my ticket which saved my a$$ in the end because of the cops that were at the stop before mine (I was a rebel and bought a concession ticket). Freaking out because of my illegal actions, I got off at the next stop, double checking for cops and since it was clear I booked it. Unfortunately, it wasn't the closest bus stop to my apartment but I didn't want to risk it so I hopped off and walked the 10 minute walk home. As soon as I got home I hopped in bed and took the most glorious nap of my life. That night, I didn't do much but watch a couple TV shows.
Today, May 26, was a very busy day for me. I had Spanish in the morning and skipped my Asian lecture at noon because of a Spanish final oral exam I had to work on. It's a dialog between myself and two other girls which has to be memorized for Wednesday, I'm the world's worst Spanish speaker! After finishing the dialog I walked over to the Co-Op to pick up some Uni hoodies for me and my mom then strolled home. Seeing as how I was starving, I made myself some lunch and hopped on my computer to write a paper. UGH. Last one of the semester thank god! I've been working on this paper all night long but thankfully its not due for another week. Soon I will be sending it off to my editor, aka Al, for her to probably re-write the whole thing cause I'm bad at writing. Other than that not much has been going on. I have 5 more days of Uni and I cannot wait to just relax in Australia. This weekend Sydney, Sam, Libby and I are planning adventurous things. We plan on going to Hunter Valley one day soon and the Blue Mountains. I also need to go to the Harley Store to get Rick's shirt, hopefully I can do that on Wednesday.
Well for now, love ya!
